Quarterly reporting of Progress Software turned out to be worse than expected



American software developer Progress Software announced that profit in the first fiscal quarter totaled 28 cents a share and revenue of $90,2 million, while analysts had forecast 28 cents in paper and $93,1 million, respectively.

Meanwhile, the company estimates adjusted earnings in the second fiscal quarter could reach 26 to 29 cents a share on revenue of $93-96 million, while analysts are expecting 36 cents per paper and of $102.5 million, respectively.
