Commerzbank will conduct business restructuring, temporarily suspend payment of dividends



German lender Commerzbank intends to restructure its business and cut about 9,000 jobs over the next few years. It is reported that the layoffs will take place by 2020.

Meanwhile, the Bank announced that it would not pay a dividend for the year 2016 with the goal of cost savings as the restructuring costs will be approximately € 1 billion ($1.12 billion).
